Mount Douglas (known as PKOLS in the Saanich language, meaning 'white stone') is a prominent hill located in Saanich. Standing at 225 meters (738 feet), it offers panoramic views of the surrounding region. The peak provides a 360-degree lookout, offering vistas of rural Saanich, downtown Victoria, and, on clear days, the Olympic and Cascade mountains in Washington State.

Mount Douglas Park encompasses 188 hectares (1.88 km²) and is the largest urban forest on the Saanich Peninsula. The park features over 21 kilometers of trails, catering to various hiking preferences, from easy strolls to more strenuous climbs.
