Todd Creek Trestle

Historic Todd Creek Trestle, made of Douglas-fir, was constructed in 1918. Countless trains thundered across the trestle until the 1970s. Douglas-fir was abundant, and had the strength to withstand the stresses of long, loaded trains, west coast wind storms, and weather. Todd Creek Trestle is a living reminder of past engineering feats, and the endurance of Douglas-fir.
