Salt Spring's coolest free indie music event, the Convergence Festival, is back for its 4th year, produced by Tommy van Deursen and Mary Kastle in partnership with Salt Spring Arts and Graffiti Theatre. The event will feature a variety of local acts including singer-songwriters, pop, roots, rock, and reggae artists. This year the festival is ramping things up by bringing in the Polaris Prize–nominated Canadian indie folk/Indigenous collaboration Reuben and the Bullhorn Singers to headline the event.

On site, Salt Spring Arts will offer craft activities for kids as part of the Crafting Connections program, The Wilding Foundation will present a FabLab booth, and South End Sausage will serve their delicious food.
