Once again this year, the Santa Claus Parade transformed downtown Victoria into a Christmas fairytale. Marching bands, festive floats, volunteers, and performers in bright costumes helped create a New Year holiday atmosphere. The 43rd edition of the parade followed an updated route, allowing even more people to join the celebration and enjoy Santa’s arrival. The event has long become a beloved tradition in British Columbia’s capital — one eagerly awaited each year by both residents and visitors, especially the youngest spectators, who are generously treated to sweets by parade participants.
