For the first time ever, Red Bull Log Drivers rolled into Victoria's Inner Harbour on Saturday, July 18.
Athletes took on a 50-metre dash across a patchwork of floating logs, where every step demanded speed, balance, and a little bit of luck. Inspired by Canada's logging heritage, the event delivered plenty of laughs, thrilling races, and spectacular wipeouts. Whether competitors reached the finish line dry or with an unplanned dip in the harbour, the enthusiastic crowd cheered every run.
After hours of balancing, battling, and splashdowns, Maxwell Mnguni claimed the title of Victoria's inaugural Red Bull Log Drivers Champion, taking home the $1,500 grand prize and ultimate bragging rights. Sean Yokoyama finished second, while Rob Fraser rounded out the podium in third.
The combination of athletic skill, good humour, and nonstop action made the Red Bull Log Drivers event a memorable addition to Victoria's summer festival season.
