Victoria Symphony is celebrating its 85th anniversary with the long-awaited return of its beloved summer festival, Symphony SPLASH! — back for the first time since 2019.

The free two-day event takes place August 2–3, 2025, in Victoria’s Inner Harbour, featuring four live performances on the iconic barge stage by the Victoria Symphony and the National Youth Orchestra of Canada, with special guests including singer-songwriters Celeigh Cardinal and Shawnee Kish, percussionist Sal Ferreras with his Latin Jazz Sextet, and Cuban vocalist Adonis Puentes.

The weekend will include afternoon and evening concerts, a Family Zone with hands-on activities and an Instrument Petting Zoo, community stages showcasing local talent, food and beverage vendors, and the traditional grand finale — Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture and Amazing Grace with fireworks over the harbour.
