I-Hos Gallery, located on the traditional territory of the K’ómoks First Nation in Courtenay, is one of Vancouver Island’s most significant Indigenous art galleries. Since opening in 1995, it has become a cultural hub, showcasing the vibrant traditions, artistry, and stories of the Kwakwaka’wakw people and other Indigenous artists from the Pacific Northwest. Visitors not only experience the beauty of the artwork but also gain insight into the stories, legends, and history behind the creations.
