Bonilla Creek Falls
Bonilla Point, West Coast Trail,
Cowichan Valley RD

Bonilla Creek Campground, located at Bonilla Point along the 30-mile West Coast Trail, is a secluded spot that can easily be overlooked from the beach. As a result, most hikers pass by Bonilla Falls, nestled against a small cliff at the edge of a dense forest. So, few hikers camp here or even stop to explore, despite the ample space for tents on the sandy beach.

But this place conceals a charming little world, sheltered from the elements. There is a delightful hammock here, crafted from old fishing nets and ropes, swaying in the breeze.

And the Bonilla Falls is unexpectedly stunning up close. You can even shower under the falls — a refreshing experience after a long day of hiking.

Not to be overlooked: remnants of the Puritan shipwreck lie nearby!
