The Beachlands Park is a coastal park in Colwood, offering public access to the shoreline along Esquimalt Lagoon.
The Beachlands site is part of a large master-planned oceanfront community currently under development. Significant portions of shoreline and parkland have been preserved for public use alongside residential and commercial spaces and now the park is open to the public daily from dawn until dusk.
The park includes a children’s playground, beach volleyball court, picnic tables, public washrooms, and large decorative driftwood letters along the waterfront. From the shoreline, visitors can observe passing ships, seabirds, and during migration seasons, occasional whales offshore.
